Project Management is used to ensure that an end result is achieved on time, within budget, and with the proper scope. In order for all components to come together effectively, strong leadership and direction are required. This is where good Project Management can make the difference between a successful initiative and a never ending set of unfulfilled expectations.

By implementing appropriate management principles, the Program Management Office or similar organization charged with managing the organization's change efforts can provide a repeatable and predictable process for achieving growth and development goals.

The importance of communication can never be under estimated.

Project failures can often be attributed to poor communication, poor role definition, and unresolved conflicts among team members. MLC will assess the communication processes within project and program mangagement teams, propose solutions, and facilitate improvements to help ensure success and more satisfied project management professionals.

• Regularly scheduled team meetings which can be as short as 15 to 30 minutes to share important information between team members.
• E-mails followed up by telephone calls and/or personal visits.
• Periodic "pulse checks" with individual team members to validate that they understand their roles and to validate that they are on track
