Change Management

Change Readiness Assessment

Change frequently requires additional allocation of revenue, time, energy, and human capital. It can also require new routines, new technologies, and new cultures. The often broad and unintended outcomes of change have made many managers deeply cautious and perhaps even a little afraid of change no matter what benefits it promises.

Therefore, in order to implement change management strategies into an organization's infrastructure, MLC employs a Change Readiness Assessment to determine the cultural and organizational resistances to change. With this understanding, MLC collaborates with clients to construct custom strategies for smoother and more effective change processes.

The breadth and depth of the Readiness Assessment depends upon the scope of planned changes. The most extensive assessment includes the components in the diagram below:

The Base Ten Analysis looks at how change is likely to impact the ten macro-processes that comprise an organization. The analysis views the organization as a system of interdependent components in constant motion and vulnerable to impact from change in any part of the system.
