Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment is the identification of hazards that have the potential for disrupting business processes and analyzing the relative probability of their occurrence. Events may have both negative and positive impacts on operations and projects.

MLC classifies the major risks into three main categories:

• Natural Hazards
• Technology-Related Risks
• Human Generated Risks

While the absolute probability of events cannot be reliably predicted (the probability of all events is greater than zero) most of the risks likely to impact an organization can be known.

All organizations are at risk – but in different ways. MLC will provide a tailored Risk Profile (included in the Business Impact Analysis) for your organization that will inform your mitigation, response, recovery, and resumption strategies and tactics.
