Robert Takemura

Robert Takemura

Bob Takemura has been with MLC for over 15 years, serving as Chief Operating Officer before becoming President in January of 2009.

While at MLC, Bob has led private and public sector clients through a wide range of initiatives. His experience includes Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning, Data Security, Program Management, Information Technology, and Strategic Development. He also has extensive experience in Program Management, Security for the hospitality and real estate industries. He has been a primary leader in developing the Project Management Office at several clients across industries.

Bob is the creator of many of the assessment formats at MLC including the Business Continuity, Physical, Change Readiness and Risk Assessments. He has performed physical assessments for numerous client facilities, performed Business Impact Analyses and Risk Assessments, developed business continuity program and plans, and has written and managed numerous simulations and exercises.

Bob is credited for developing many of MLC's models and visual aids. Bob co-created the award winning Six Component Model for Business Continuity. He also co-created the MLC Blueprint used in Program and Project Management. In addition, he is co-designer of the Medication Error Elimination Blueprint for the healthcare industry. His ability to convert complex information into straightforward and insightful visual depictions and reports is legendary throughout MLC's broad client base.

Mr. Takemura holds a BS in Biology and a Real Estate Finance Certificate from UCLA. He has served as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners.
