Business Systems Analyst
Wai Kin KhoongMr. Khoong is a recent graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he received his Masters in Business Administration. Mr. Khoong focused his study primarily in the field of Finance, more specifically in Corporate Finance and Investment Management. During the course of the program, Mr. Khoong along with four MBA candidates had the opportunity to work as Strategic Consultants for a telecommunications company in Irvine, California. This consulting engagement involved a variety of tasks including market research, competitive analysis, financial analysis, and market positioning. While pursuing his master’s degree, Mr. Khoong spent a summer as an intern at a well known electronics manufacturing company. At the internship, Mr. Khoong was responsible for market research, sales growth forecast as well as the development of marketing materials. As a result of this experience, Mr. Khoong gained a broad understanding of the renewable energy sector. Throughout his educational years, Mr. Khoong has always demonstrated leadership qualities. At graduate school, he was a leading officer of a student organization where he oversaw a group of international students. As the Vice President, Mr. Khoong coordinated major events, prepared budgets, and raised funds for the organization. In addition, Mr. Khoong played varsity tennis for the University of the Cumberlands where he completed his undergraduate studies. He had led his team to several regional and national tournaments. His career in tennis extends beyond collegiate tennis. Prior to attending college, he led his team to both State and National titles and represented his country in international junior tournaments. Mr. Khoong is fluent is English, Cantonese, and Malay. |
