Senior Consultant
Paul BrownMr. Brown brings over 30 years of experience in Management Information Services to MLC. He is a natural leader and when needed a self-motivated team player with solid analytical, technical and interpersonal skills. He has expertise in various fields including, Business Continuity, Information Technology, Security and Finance. Over the past three decades, Mr. Brown has gained extensive experience with numerous desktops and servers applications, system architecture, local and wide area networks, various data and voice communication components, messaging systems, distributive processing, AS/400, large computing systems, Client/Server environment, Technology Research and Development, and both Internet and Intranet technologies. In addition, Mr. Brown has managed day to day computer operations spanning multiple sites in large computing environments. Mr. Brown, in effect, will further assist MLC’s transition into the growing Corporate Performance Management (CPM) practice as well as enable MLC to continue to use cutting-edge approaches in their various services. He began his career as the Item Processing Manager in Data Services for Valley Federal Savings and Loan. After ten years, he moved to the Coast Federal Bank where he was the Technical Services Manager and Assistant Vice President for the Management Information Services department. Before coming to MLC & Associates, Inc, Mr. Brown was an Information Technology First Vice President at Countrywide Financial Corporation. Mr. Brown is a member of numerous associations including the Los Angeles Chapter for the Association of Contingency Planners (2000) and the MIS Training Institute Business Recovery Managers Symposium (2000-2001). He has also been a national speaker on topics such as Business Continuity, Business Impact Analysis, Server Consolidation, and Network Design. Mr. Brown academic history includes receiving a Certification of Achievement from the Institute of Financial Education, attaining a Profession Designation in both System Analysis and System Management from U.C.L.A, and receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems from the University of Redlands. |
